To the special person reading these words. Yes you! How are you? Hopefully reading this may let you know that there is someone waiting, praying for and thinking of you. Me! L.O.L.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name’s Terryon. I’m an artist who is also an author, as well as a college student and a nerd.
Having been removed from my family and friends I understand and know first hand how it feels and is to judged; especially by those who do not know you. Life is short and tomorrow shows no promises.
Most people view those incarcerated as being victims who’ve fallen under the pressure of circumstances and situations far beyond their control. For some this is true. We as people; or should I say human beings, judge everyone and everything before choosing to give them an opportunity. Therefore passing up some of the most amazing blessings we could have shared in.
Judge me not by the mistakes I’ve made but rather by the endeavors that will propell me forward in a highly conducive manner. There’s a vast misconception that incarcerated individuals don’t appreciate the things people in the “free” world do and even sacrifice of themselves. In general and in aspects of admiration.
Honestly speaking, I’m in awe just of you choosing to take the time to hear (read) what I have say. However, I would appreciate the opportunity to share more with you, Insha’Allah. Breath, take a moment and just relax. You’re safe with me, but only in choosing to allow yourself to feel, know, understand and become safe when it comes to us getting to know each other.
I admit I’m a little rough around the edges, but once I let you in, know that you have nothing to worry about. Honesty and respect are the key to trust. Trust is the stepping stone to loyalty. In other words, just be yourself. What we share with one another is our secret. And the best kept secret is, the one you share with the one you’re connect with.
Though it’s not intentional, being isolated does tent to play a large part in taking things and people for granted. Being inside, communications gets paused, stopped and even misunderstood. These are often tactics used by the system to break up or damage the blessings that come with dealing with someone who’s incarcerated. They say faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of what we don’t see. Intentions lead out actions.
I wanna know you! The good, the bead, the ugly. But let it be…you!
When everybody else’s problems tend to get in your way, overwhelm you, and you find yourself breaking down, I would like to be the river you pow your problems into. Allow me to hold your hand as we take this journey together. The possibilities of what await us are endless.
It’s loyalty over love, let’s keep it real first.
Sincerely and openly,
Your forever friend
P.S.
I’m looking for friends, but I’m not opposed to romance. I just feel in order to give myself romantically, we gotta start off as friends. People overlook what friendship can do. Either way whatever occurs, know we’ll take this on 2gether. I got you!!!
I look forward to hearing from you.Sending love, light and good energy to you.
Peace and prosperity.
