Hi,

My name is Justin.  I’ve been incarcerated for a little over fourteen years.  During my time here I have been trying ot better myself in every way possible.

Last year was a really big year for me.  I was able to receive a new sentencing hearing which 20 years was reduced from my original sentence.  I am now eligible for paraole in 2028.  I was also able to earn an associates degree.  This year, in 2023, I will be earning a bachelors degree.  Hopefully after that, I’ll be able to take my education further.  

When I am not busy with school or self-help, I enjoy drawing.  I find it peaceful and therapeutic.  I love that I can express myself through art especially in the form of tattoos.

I also like to watch movies.  I prefer comedy or movies based on true stories.

Overall, I am a very open person.  I like to talk but I also enjoy listening.  I love to have fun, yet, deep and meaningful conversations.

Now that I have a real possibility of going home within the next 6 years, I am trying to prepare myself as best as I can for it.  Therefore, I would like to meet some new people who are genuine, positive, confident, and comfortable with who they are, who can offer/has time for true friendship, and who I can possibly learn something from.
