Hey yall!  My name is Matthew Kidwell and I’m originally from Bloomington, Illinois.  I’m currently single, never married and no kids, although I hope to have one some day.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in science from Illinois State University where I double majored in sociology and psychology.  I’m an only child and my parents have been married for over 50 years now.  I am a machinist by trace and I absolutely love it!  It pays well, there is always work to be done as well as plenty of overtime!

I have an extroverted personality and I love meeting new people.  I am well mannered and a very respectful type of guy as I feel that life is too short to be petty and disrespectful.  I keep things in my life simple and my circle small, which is by design.  I’m looking for a cool, quality and loyal girl to communicate with and should she decide to stay in contact with me then she and I can see how things go.  All I’m after is her time and I’m willing to take whatever time she can give me.  I believe in: I look out for you and you lookout for me – it’s that simple and easy.  I don’t measure a person’s success by how much money they have, but rather how happy they are in life!  The only thing that I’m missing in my life is an amazing female that I can spoil and enjoy my life with!  I’m a very patient guy and I’m still searching for the right girl for me.  I’m looking to communicate with a girl from Illinois or Alabama if possible, however, anyone in any state is more than welcome to send me a letter.  There isn’t much to look forward to in here so it is my hope to gain a consistent pen pal and see how things go.  I am an amazing listener so we can talk about whatever you want and build off of that.  This is my first time in the pen pal program so I am very curious and excited to see what the program has to offer!

For fun I like to collect stained glass windows, going to antique auctions as well as estate sales because you always find the coolest things there and its also a good way to spend quality time with my parents as they are all I have left and they are the ones who introduced me to said auctions and estate sales.

I love animals and I have the coolest tabby cat, his name is Otis and he is staying at my parents house for now.  I miss him a lot so my mom sent me some pictures of him and to show me how much weight he has gained since I’ve been gone.  So it makes me happy to know that he is doing well!
