Hi, my family and friends relate to me as Shoney.  I’m from Chicago IL.  I’m a caring and giving person and at times I think I may be a little too caring and giving because people tend to take as a sign of weakness, but it’s how I was raised and there’s nothing that will change that.  And thru the trials and errors of life, I’ve come to understand what true friendship really is, and I want to share that with someone…

I’m loyal, compassionate, honest, soft spoken, respectful, fun to be around, and humble by nature.  I don’t like confrontations…I love sports, writing, poetry, writing books, reading, music, working out and intellectually stimulating discussions…I’m interested in someone that strives to understand others and who’s not judgmental…

I got on this website so I can meet different people from all over the world.  My incarceration has given me a new profound appreciation for companionship so that I can develop myself into becoming a better man.  I find women attractive that are smart, fun, outgoing, career oriented, competent with sex appeal.  I’m a guy that has control over my emotions but I don’t mind sharing my feelings with someone.  I feel honesty is the foundation upon building friendships so when we are communicating with one another u have to be specific on what ya intentions are.

Plans after release: I want to mentor the youth about gangs and drugs and show them a better way so that they can become somebody instead of throwing their lives away…

When I think of friendship, I think the most important ingredient is having a heart for other and that’s all I ask of ya…So I hope u enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.  I can’t wait to hear from u…
