As I write this letter it is my hope & prayer that this letter finds you & your loved ones to be in the best of health & in the finest of all well-being.

To tell you a little bit about myself.  My name is Steve, but everybody calls me by my middle name Lamont.  I’m 58 yrs old & I’m coming home Christmas Day this year.  Some Christmas present, huh (smile)!  I enjoy reading, writing, working out, jogging, playing chess, skating, bowling, & staying in tune with the creator.  I am loving, caring, loyal, trusting, kind & patient & I’m looking for a Christian women (40-55 yrs old) who possess the same qualities & characteristics.  I know then that we share something in common.

Over these 20+ yrs of incarceration I’ve lost a lot of people dear to me.  People I love & people that love me.  I understand that it takes sunshine & rain to create a rainbow, much like the components of life filled with bright days & dark ones.

Now I give thanks for each from my position of faith & positivity.  I now appreciate the blended reflections that make up the beauty of living.  Although, I sometimes spend my time wondering why I’ve been so misused, divine order, teaches me that the creator doesn’t make mistakes.  Therefore, the world is exactly the way it suppose to be at this time.  If I’ve learned nothing else during this time, it’s the value of time & how precious it really is, to all of us!  I know there’s nothing more important to me at this point in my life.

But out of the 3 phases of time (past, present, & future( the present, the gift, is all we can truly partake in.  The past is already gone, & we are not guaranteed, the future!

So I’m hoping that this short letter will bless me with your presence.  I’m really interested in knowing more about you & what’s really going on in your life!!

Please only those who are serious need to write back!

I’m hoping that through being pen-pals, we can become friends & that friendship will blossom into something more meaningful.

I am not looking for pity, but I am looking for company.

As I said, I respect a person’s time & space.  So I’m going to end this letter with this poem.

Holds the key,

To all the secrets

Inside of me,

Can you be the one to fine,

Everything I’ve been

Trying to hide.
